Atlanta CityPass—the ticket that makes the trip
CityPass ticket booklets cut through the clutter of what to see and do, zip you past entrance lines and shave up to 50% off the price of individually purchased attraction tickets. This new concept is used most larger cities including: New York, Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Hollywood and Southern California. With a CityPass in your pocket — thinner than an iPod — you march right to the heart of what makes each destination famous. The attraction staff removes their ticket and you're in. CityPass tickets include maps, tips, and transportation information.
Each Ticket is good for one day of general admission, during normal operating hours. Each attraction is listed in the booklet and here on this Web site. Attraction information will change. So, we suggest you call or visit the attractions' Web sites for changes during your IGBO 2008 dates.
Atlanta CityPass cost is $64.00 (U.S.) per person (a $113.93 value). You can purchase your Atlanta CityPass Booklet on the IGBO 2008 Atlanta Entry form,* on the the CityPass Web site, or at any participating Atlanta CityPass attraction once you arrive in Atlanta. CityPass is valid for 9 days starting the first day of use. Tickets are void if removed prior to admission. Expiration of first use is typically two years from purchase. Refer to your booklet for first-use expiration.
*Pre-purchased Atlanta CityPass booklets will be distributed to paid registrants at IGBO 2008 Registration table at the Host Hotel.

IGBO Insider Tips: Many IGBO 2008 bowlers and guests will have limited time while in Atlanta. Since our Host Hotel is next to three major attractions Aquarium, CNN and Word of Coca-Cola, you have instant options to consider. Also, the Atlanta IGBO committee recognizes that most everyone will want to visit these attractions at some point during their stay. The Atlanta CityPass gives you the option to visit these attractions when you want to and not at scheduled group tour times.
The Georgia Aquarium is by far the most popular attraction in the city. Due to crowds, timed day reservations are required sometimes a week in advance. With CityPass, NO RESERVATION IS REQUIRED. You can get in when you want to - skipping all the lines. This alone is a major advantage to getting a CityPass. World of Coca Cola and CNN Tours also require advance reservations during peak holiday weekends. With CityPass, you get next available admission, which is usually 15 minute-wait to a couple of hours. You can make advance reservations by phone at CNN to avoid lines. World of Coca-Cola, the wait is usually no more than 15 minutes to an hour. IGBO Atlanta has provided you tips at every major attraction detailed on this Web site to avoid lines and long waits. If you visit the three major attractions near our hotel, your Atlanta CityPass is nearly paid for!
